“外交史以外的冷战史”是研究生研讨课。本课旨在探讨如何评价冷战在当时的影响以及留给今天的遗产这一问题，探讨冷战时期的社会变迁以及其背后的成因，并以全球史的视角，研究冷战不同阵营国家面临的相同挑战。

吴博皓：外交史以外的冷战史

铁幕演说、万隆会议、赫尔辛基会议、厨房辩论、尼克松访华、以及别洛韦日会议——在我们记忆中标志着冷战开始、高潮和结束的事件往往与政府间高层交往密切相关。然而，冷战作为二十世纪中叶以来将全球各国深度卷入的历史阶段，对塑造当时与今日的世界有着全方位的影响。无论是中美苏三国深度参与的亚非拉去殖民化运动，还是核军备竞赛、太空竞争等一系列由政府主导的科技狂飙，都对各国的社会、经济、乃至日常生活产生了重大影响。时至今日，冷战时期创立的机构与组织——包括亚洲投资银行、北大西洋公约组织、经合组织、东南亚国家联盟、石油输出国组织等——仍在全球各个角落扮演重要的角色。

那么，我们应该如何评价冷战在当时的影响以及留给今天的遗产？本课程旨在通过两种视角探讨这一问题：我们将：1）探讨冷战时期的社会变迁以及其背后的成因 2）以全球史的视角，研究冷战不同阵营国家面临的相同挑战。前者使我们能够超越外交史视角，来审视包括政治、经济和社会活动在内的一系列发展，从而对冷战形成更全面的认识。后者则让我们能够超越意识形态对抗本身，探寻战后几十年间各国的发展路径，并深刻理解这一历经数十年的全方位激烈地缘政治斗争中诞生的历史动力对人类社会的冲击。每节课分为三个部分，即专题讲座、就当周阅读材料进行研讨、以及基于一手史料进行的阅读和讨论。在本课程结束时，学生将能够对冷战时期的社会变迁形成自己的思考，并认识到冷战是如何塑造我们今天的世界的。同时，本课程将利用课堂讨论和课程论文的形式，为学生提供写作指导，帮助学生熟悉历史学学术写作的风格和方式。

教 师 简 介

吴博皓，北京大学历史学系助理教授、研究员，哈佛大学历史学博士，曾在日本早稻田大学访学，主要研究领域为外交史、冷战史和全球史。曾获布朗大学罗伊斯学会克里斯蒂安·叶根卓越毕业论文奖与怀特海国际研究中心秋山日本研究奖等奖项。
